CALOSEC desiccant dryer 9.7 to 155.8 m³/min

CALOSEC series desiccant dryers

Versatile. Efficient. Intelligent. – CALOSEC series desiccant dryers

Our new CALOSEC series desiccant dryers combine versatility, efficiency, and intelligent control into a future-oriented solution for a wide range of compressed air applications. With innovative drying technologies such as Blower Purge (CSP), Zero Purge (CSA), and Closed Loop (CSL), we provide the optimal solution for a wide range of requirements - from energy efficiency up to extreme climatic conditions.

Thanks to the intelligent CALOSEC CONTROL controller and comprehensive system monitoring, you achieve maximum reliability and efficiency in delivering pressure dew points below 0°C. Whether in the optics, electronics, or pharmaceutical industries, the CALOSEC series guarantees maximum performance and energy savings.

  • PDP to −40 °C (optionally to -70 °C)
  • Flow rate 9.7 to 155.8 m³/min
  • Pressure from 5 to 11 bar

Your benefits

  • Maximum energy efficiency
By implementing energy-efficient technologies, such as SILICAGEL ECO desiccant and load-dependent control, we reduce energy consumption to a minimum. This results in significant cost savings while maintaining consistently high performance.
  • Intelligent controller for maximum reliability
Our CALOSEC CONTROL controller ensures smooth operation with comprehensive system monitoring. This guarantees maximum operational reliability and enables seamless integration into existing control systems.
  • Extended cycles for maximum stability
Thanks to the generous dimensioning of CALOSEC dryers, we guarantee a fixed cycle of up to 12 hours, which can be further extended according to demand. This ensures stable drying performance, even under demanding operating conditions and partial load scenarios.
The perfect partner: Compressed air filters from KAESER
Activated carbon filter F530 from Kaeser Kompressoren.

KAESER FILTER products ensure compressed air quality across all purity classes in accordance with ISO 8573-1. Efficient filter elements and generously sized housings minimise differential pressure, while coated steel casings provide durability and optimal filtration conditions.

CALOSEC CONTROL - Intelligent controller for maximum efficiency and control

CALOSEC CONTROL – the intuitive controller for the CALOSEC series.

Our CALOSEC CONTROL controller not only ensures smooth and reliable operation, but also provides entirely new control capabilities with its 7” touch colour display and comprehensive system monitoring.

Via the integrated Modbus TCP (Ethernet) interface, it can be seamlessly integrated with master control systems or into our KAESER SIGMA NETWORK.

The controller can be optionally expanded with the ENERGY CONTROL function, which provides precise performance and energy consumption data. Additionally, the standard pressure dew point control enables demand-based regulation, which saves energy and optimises operating times.

Versatile drying processes

CSP series: Cooling with compressed air
Cooling with compressed air

With the smart CALOSEC CSP series, which can be used universally and worldwide, desorption takes place with heated ambient air in counter flow to the adsorption direction, and cooling is achieved using depressurised partial flow from the dried compressed air flow.

CSA(-V) series: Cooling with ambient air
Cooling with ambient air

With the CALOSEC CSA(-V) Premium series, desorption occurs in counter flow to the adsorption direction with heated ambient air, and cooling is achieved using ambient air in co-current flow. This results in zero compressed air loss for regeneration (Zero Purge).

Use of the ‘Zero Purge’ process depends on the ambient dew point. It can only be used up to a maximum value. Unlike conventional Zero Purge dryers, the CALOSEC CSA(-V) series can be reliably used even in phases with higher ambient dew points when AMBIENT CONTROL is activated.

CSL(-V) series: Loop cooling
Loop cooling

With the water-cooled CALOSEC CSL(-V) series, desorption occurs in counter flow to the adsorption direction with heated fan air, and cooling is achieved using fan air in co-current flow in the closed cooling circuit (Loop). The cooling phase is therefore independent of the ambient conditions.

This also makes stable pressure dew points down to -70°C possible. CALOSEC CSL(-V) systems can also be used worldwide in all climate zones. No compressed air is required for the cooling phase (Zero Purge).
