Air compressors for use in marine, shipbuilding, and shipping operations – Efficient KAESER KOMPRESSOREN technology for maritime applications.
Compressed air on the high seas

Efficient solutions for shipping

Compressed air is an important source of energy in the shipping industry. Whether for control air and work air, for nitrogen generation and wastewater treatment, or for SCR systems used in exhaust gas cleaning, compressed air plays a decisive role when it comes to the safety, manoeuvrability, and functionality of ships.

KAESER provides compressed air system solutions especially tailored to the specific requirements and operating conditions of maritime applications, which meet the strict documentation requirements of the industry. Compact and extremely durable, KAESER compressors, blowers and treatment components provide constant, dependable performance, even under the toughest of conditions.

With a clear focus on the environment, we are committed to conserving valuable resources. The exceptional efficiency of our systems makes it possible for many ship components to be smaller and therefore better at saving energy

Our deep-seated understanding of the particular challenges and requirements associated with marine applications make KAESER an expert partner for the shipping industry. With our strong focus on quality, service, and documentation, you will always be in safe waters with us.

Applications

Compressed air application areas in the marine, shipbuilding, and shipping industries

On the high seas, compressed air is used in a multitude of ways – whether as working and control air, or for wastewater treatment and exhaust gas cleaning.

Service and support

Worldwide: Anytime, anywhere

KAESER compressors, blowers and treatment components are bywords for durability, dependability and energy efficiency. Perfectly tailored for the demanding conditions associated with operating on the high seas, these compact systems can be accommodated in even the smallest of machine rooms. What are the advantages of arranging certification via KAESER?

The advantages speak for themselves: Factory approval, enhanced delivery control and manufacturing flexibility

KAESER is available for type tests for all notable classification societies. Separate approvals can be granted on a case-by-case basis for classification societies not covered by type approvals. Type-testing makes certification quick and simple.

How does the required approval process take place?
In order to minimise delivery times for our marine customers, and also to reduce the carbon footprint of our activities, KAESER prefers to carry out the required approvals remotely if the applicable classification society offers such a service.

Our state-of-the-art test facilities for marine compressors, including live-streaming connectivity, offer all the necessary equipment to undertake remote inspections in the best way possible. This means the customer can participate in the approval process from anywhere in the world, without needing to worry about travel time, costs or waiting times, and benefiting from direct communication with our marine compressor experts.
